I am passionate about the natural process of birth and feel that my role as a midwife is to give all of the information necessary for my clients to make informed decisions for themselves and their babies and support my clients in those decisions and care for them during pregnancy, home birth, and postpartum periods. I serve women up to a 30 minute drive radius of my home in Elverson, PA. For those outside my drive radius who choose me as their midwife, they are welcome to come and birth at our birth room location or secure another location within my radius for birth.
I was a pediatric registered nurse for 10 years while working as a doula on the side before becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. I am the owner of Balanced Essential Living Midwifery, LLC. It's truly an honor and privilege to be a part of the miracle of life.
Outside of midwifery, I am a mom to 2 adult boys, a wife, and a pianist. I love to play board and card games, build puzzles, and read.
