Laura Browning

Laura Browning, CPM, is the owner of Sage Roots Midwifery. Her passion for birth work began after her first child’s birth, inspiring her to become a birth and postpartum doula. Since 2016, she has supported families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with compassionate, evidence-based care.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from Mercy in Action College in 2024 and became a CPM in 2025. Now, she serves families as an independent midwife.

A devoted wife and homeschooling mother of four, Laura is committed to improving maternal and infant health in southeastern Kentucky. Through Sage Roots Midwifery, she provides home birth services, prenatal coaching, and childbirth education, honoring birth as a natural, individualized process.
