Angela Vanderwerf

Hi I’m Angela, a Birth and Postpartum doula in the Greater Austin area. I love serving women and their families, empowering them to be seen, heard and cared for in their pregnancy and labor.

I'm DONA trained and VBAC certified through the incredible VBAC Link.  My special focus is walking alongside of VBAC hopeful moms, helping them optimise their chances for success. I support all kinds of births, from women who want unmedicated, low intervention labors to those that desire extra support with medicated pain relief. Our bodies are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and are capable with God's strength and design for birth and postpartum. It's always a treasure to come alongside parents who especially want to partner with me and their Christian values.  I believe that prayer, scriptural affirmations, worship music and liturgy can be beautifully incorporated into your birth experience.
