About me
I am a mother to 4, nearly an empty nester, and my draw into birth work evolved after going through difficult, unsupported, and fear driven labors without knowing I had options or the power to take control of my births. I deeply desire to empower and educate women, and help them find that birth can be a beautiful experience whether it is in a hospital, birth center or at home. I am committed to holding mothers and their partners in a safe and sacred space of constant support, without fear of judgement. I know how life transforming birth is and am privileged to walk alongside each family during the unfolding of their own unique journey.
Support, encouragement, and knowledge are the pillars by which I focus my care. I am empathetic, gentle, warm, nurturing, and fun-loving! I bring an awareness and tenderness for spiritual, physical, and emotional care during this precious time. I believe these are not luxuries, but necessities that all women both need and are worthy of.
