I believe true midwifery is a calling.  God has directed me to this ministry. I desire to answer the call to help other women achieve their dreams of having their babies born in the loving atmosphere of their own homes just as I was able to.   I will never forget the feelings I experienced while helping at my first birth.  I was in awe watching the incredible human body functioning the way it was designed to.  WIth each contraction, I watched the mother's body language and the expressions on her face.  The love she exhibited as she caressed her newborn baby in those sacred moments after birth was unforgettable.  I knew then that I wanted to learn all that I could, so I could be the best midwife that I could be.
